CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Traditional Summer Camp: Our nationally-known resident camp program provides youth ages 7-16 with an opportunity to feel a part of something bigger than themselves. To many youth, the world of today can seem overwhelmingly complicated to navigate. Camp Jewell reminds them all that success boils down to surrounding yourself with good people who actively show caring toward one another. Campers learn that every challenge is easier when you are confident in who you are as a person, and that this confidence comes from knowing you are truly cared about by more than just your immediate family.

Ranch Camp: Hide-a-Way Ranch at Camp Jewell YMCA provides a unique setting for our Ranch Campers to enjoy a traditional camp experience with an equestrian focus. The one thing everyone has in common at Ranch Camp is the love and enjoyment of riding and working with horses. This creates a stronger, more personal relationship between the campers in their cabins, riding groups, and in the overall Ranch Camp

They are led by specifically trained staff that are over 21 years of age who are selected for their leadership experience, certifications, and love of the outdoors. Campers will have an opportunity to get to know themselves and each other better, as well as build strong relationships within their trip group.
