On our exciting, supervised educational travel programs, individuals learn new skills, make lifelong friends and explore extraordinary cultures in United States and abroad.
SPECIAL NEEDS CAMPERS: Camp Wego is a Travel camp serving teens and adult with special needs ages 14-65. We are a small travel special needs camp that travel in the United States and abroad. We are able to provide low staffing ratios, 1 to 4. (1:1 if needed) We have highly credentialed and experienced staff so each individuals needs are met. We add new and innovative travel and activities each year.
Our travel is designed to enhance social, friendship, culture, and other vital life skills that promote independence. Camp Wego helps travelers make new friends while traveling in a safe, fun and educational environment.
We offer high-quality supervised tours for teens and adults with special needs year around. Our travel programs are specialized for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Asperger's syndrome.
Individuals must be ambulatory and be able to take care of personal hygiene needs.

BRIEF CAMP DESCRIPTION: GETSET serves Idaho rural and underserved students through overnight summer technology camp experiences at prestigious Idaho college campuses. GETSET offers weeklong programs for students. Our mission is to serve learners in exploration and innovation, and to engage Idaho communities in technology learning.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Adventure, Video/Filmmaking/Photography, Science, Academics, Computers, Math, Technology, Basketball, Team Sports, and more. We Provide Very Interactive STEM Field Trips In The Morning Specialized Technology Classes In The Afternoon.
CAMP LOCATION: Our headquarters are in Boise and we host our camps at Boise State University. Students will explore, reflect and create in areas of their own interests during summer camps. We offer courses in Moviemaking and animation creation, Game Development and Design and Coding for kids and teens. CAMP FACILITIES: Boise State University has beautiful dorms and several dining choices. We utilize the campus Recreational center for bowling, basketball and much more. We tour the huge campus and various academic departments as part of our exploration!
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our 2018 camps at Boise State University campus provide extensive resources, technology experts, and a 1:8 student to facilitator ratio enabling students to develop thoughtful and complex projects. Providing overnight camps on college campus in dorms invites youth from rural areas to participate in a college readiness experience not available anywhere else in Idaho. We offer scholarships for underserved students and transportation to and from camp for families outside the greater Treasure Valley area. It is our intent to reach those from rural areas so cost and transportation will not be considered an obstacle for students applying.
Our camps are based near our headquarters in Boise at Boise State University campus and provide overnight (4th-11th) and/or day (2nd-4th) experiences on the beautiful, prestigious college campus with housing in the dorms and meals on campus. Students explore, reflect and create with technology (STEM) in areas of their own interests during camps. Courses include: Moviemaking with iPads and Game design.
Outside of class time we will be balancing learning with plenty of outdoor activities that will continue to challenge and excite our students while also making sure that they are exposed to a variety of experiences. For example: Activities with the UnBound library, Maker Lab, Discovery Center, Engineering department tours and Jump Time!
CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: We have a limited number of scholarships available on a first come first served basis.
OTHER CAMP INFO: Creating relationships and having fun through various campus activities and downtown city opportunities will make our camps invaluable to participants! We have been very well received in the community and collaborate with the city libraries, Apple Computer, Discovery Center, COEN Engineering Department and the Boise Aquarium to name a few.

CAMP FACILITIES: Alpengirl campers sleep in 3-4 person backpacking style tents, we practice outdoor living, cooking, and leave no trace skills. A majority of our campsites have bathroom and running water and are located in gorgeous wilderness settings in mountains, next to fresh water streams, at by pristine lakes.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Alpengirl Camp is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and has a staff to camper ratio of 1:4 or 1:6. Our camp is highly supervised with small groups of 12 girls led by 2-3 adult female role model Alpenguides. Alpenguides average age is 26 and all have certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Alpengirl is a multi-adventure camp, we offer a variety of adventure activities in each session. We also practice daily yoga and enjoy cooking and eating delicious, healthy camp food. Campers are involved in all aspects of camp life including acting as leader of the day, setting up tents, cooking on camp stoves, following hiking maps, leading fun activities with the group and being part of a close-knit team.

CAMP FACILITIES: We currently maintain ten Cabins five heated Yurts and four Platform tents. All cabins are weatherized and have indoor bathrooms and showers. Our Yurts are conveniently located close to a modern shower house and bathroom. The platform tents are short walk to restroom facilities. We serve our meals in the majestic Triple J lodge. With alternate meeting sites available as well.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our camp has a strong belief in developing our staff as well as our campers. We live by our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
We are ACA accredited and make the safety of our campers and staff our highest priority.

CAMP FACILITIES: With lodging for up to 125 people (rustic cabins and dorm-style rooms), indoor and outdoor meeting areas, and beautiful property, Paradise Point is ideal for accommodating groups of many sizes. Paradise Point also has four RV hook-ups and space for up to eleven tents.

All our camp staff is professionally trained in CPR and First Aid and have gone through child abuse prevention training. CAMP FACILITIES: All trips begin at a designated airport. Students explore the most scenic and beautiful places in a particular region, and travel between activity sites in brand-new, 15-passenger vans. We spend each night in a tent, and students learn how to cook in the backcountry—with plenty of guidance from our instructors! They go backpacking, camping, whitewater rafting, rock climbing, whitewater kayaking, ziplining, ice climbing, canoeing, sea kayaking, inflatable kayaking, mountaineering, and mountain biking.

Fun and exciting outdoor activities help teens grow and gain life skills and a greater sense of self.
