Super Mini- Dance & Tumble Camp
Join us for four days of exciting dance fun. Ballet, jazz, hip hop, tumble, and more are in store. We'll learn steps from around the world, work on tumble skills, and make a special keepsake book!
This is a half day Dance Camp, which may be paired with Art Camp on the same day for full day camp.

Cheer & Tumble Camp
Students will learn cheers, sidelines, dances, & the safest, most effective way to progress in stunting. In addition teambuilding exercises, tumble skills and specialty skills will be a daily focus.

Dance Sampler Camps
Sample the styles of dance that you love most. Students will work in elements of ballet, jazz, lyrical, music theatre and hip hop. Campers experience daily technique and choreography classes, while working on performance quality and style in preparation for a Camp Showcase.

Dance Intensive
Enjoy a whole new way to experience dance camp. Visiting teachers will offer master classes in ballet, contemporary, tap, musical theatre, hip hop and modern. The Dance Intensive program is designed for beginner & advanced dancers who want to train at their own level learning through choreography and technique sessions. This is a full day intensive camp.

ARTsplosions – Art meets Science
Let's combine your love of Science & Art! In this camp we will find unexpected art mediums and techniques showing how important it is to think outside the box and color outside the lines! Warning: this camp is bound to cause creative explosions of the messiest proportions
This is a half day Arts Camp, which may be paired with Piano Camp on the same day for full day camp.

Pint Sized Picassos
See, touch and play! This fun-filled, hands-on camp is all about textures, experimentation, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination and creativity while having messy fun!
This is a half day Art Camp, which may be paired with Dance Camp on the same day for full day camp.
Youth (Ages 4-8) June 8-12 9:00am- Noon
Jr. Art Sampler – 2D
Students will explore a variety of 2D media such as papermaking, drawing, comic art, printmaking, collage and painting. All materials are included in the cost of camp. Students will participate in the Gallery Show.
This is a half day Art Camp that may be paired with the 3D Art camp on the same day for a full day camp.

Jr. Art Sampler – 3D
In 3D multi-media will create sculptures, free-standing and in relief, using clay, polymers, glass, plastic and recycled materials. All materials are included in the cost of camp. Students will participate in the Gallery Show.
This is a half day Art Camp that may be paired with the 2D Art camp on the same day for a full day camp.

Teen Arts Sampler- 2D &3D Camp
In this combination class, students will explore 2D and 3D processes to create drawings, paintings, sculpture, and clay projects. All materials are included in the cost of camp. Students will participate in the Summer Gallery Show.
This is a full day art camp.

Nature of Art Camp
Students will focus on Nature themed art and use of natural materials in their projects. Subjects include wildlife, birds, plants & landscapes. Plein Air painting, garden art and as a part of their portfolios for the week, all campers will be producing a 10" x 10" painting which will hang at the Gallery Show. All materials are included in the cost of tuition.
This is a half day Arts Camp, which may be paired with Garden Camp on the same day for full day camp.

Stars, Stripes, & Splatters

Rock, Paper, Scissors – Visual Art
In this camp, students are exploring fiber and collage art. Students will create their own paper pressings, prints and collage projects. Most projects are mixed media. Drawing painting, photography, print, making and collage technique. All basic materials are included in the cost of tuition. Students may bring in additional items for their final projects.
Final projects are eligible to join the fall art gallery show.
This is a full day Art camp geared for Advanced Junior and Teen students.

Theatre CAMPS
Stop Motion Madness- Film & Theatre
Bring your imagination to life in this introduction to Animation & Film class. From comics to clay: write, produce, and direct a short film piece involving your own hand-built figures & set design. Learn to synchronize your creations to music & sound effects on your computer. The end product will be a short film that will wow friends and family. Polish your acting skills, as you star in your own short films, too! This is a half day Theatre Camp, which may be paired with Build It! Camp on the same day for full day camp.

Advanced Acting & Theatre Production Camp
This camp is an opportunity for students to focus on taking their theatre experience to an advanced level. Scene study, monologues, technical theatre, stage combat, and characterization with Mr. Shelton! Students will present a variety production at the end of camp. This is a full day Theatre Camp.

Mix IT Up! Camps
Garden Camp
Gardens are full of creative colors and textures that help inspire young artists to make unique garden themed art! We will explore garden designs, big and small. From planting to painting and creating we will study gardens and create garden environmental art installations. Our creations will be displayed in the garden at the end of the week during an art show for family and friends to attend!
This is a half day Mix It Up! Camp, which may be paired with Nature of Art Camp on the same day for full day camp.

Game On! Camp
Backyard games, indoor board game challenges, and creation of your own wild games, are just a few of the fun plans for this camp.
This Fourth of July week Camp is a half day camp which may be paired with the Stars, Stripes, & Splatters Art Camp for a full day camp. Camp this week is prorated for anyone who will leave early on holiday.

Build It! Camp
Everything is provided for the campers to design and create amazing brick builds, and builds from abstract and recycled materials robots. Each day the students will be given a different brick challenge. Students work with LEGO® elements and moving parts to create a models, as well as materials for daily projects.
This is a half day Mix It Up! Camp, which may be paired with Film Camp on the same day for full day camp.

CAMP SCHOLARSHIPS OR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Financial Aid
The Mooresville Arts Partnership has a mission to provide financial aid to new and returning qualifying families. A limited amount of partial aid is also available to students with demonstrated need. Assistance will be determined on a sliding scale basis. To determine whether your family qualifies for financial aid, the parent, guardian or adult student must provide our office with a copy of income tax return for the previous year, pay stubs for the last two months and/or a social security benefit statement. In addition, an optional payment plan is available, depending on the family's need. Our goal is to provide classes to students in need, who might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy fine arts classes.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: The Mooresville Arts Partnership is a not for profit arts education facility for dance, drama, music and visual arts. It is a partnership of teachers, families and community members with a goal to nourish the arts, creativity and community through education, performance and exhibition.

We add new and innovative travel and activities each year.
Our travel is designed to enhance social, friendship, culture, and other vital life skills that promote independence. Camp Wego helps travelers make new friends while traveling in a safe, fun and educational environment.
We offer high-quality supervised tours for teens and adults with special needs year around. Our travel programs are specialized for individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD and Asperger's syndrome.
